  4. Mine came in a rock from someone elses tank. Have you seen Steve Weast's 7foot long beastie?
  5. unless they get too big I
  6. Sad. Foot is okish, but most of the tentacles have been skimmed out by the skimmer, i did approx 80L waterchange, also decided to ditch the substrate, as i'm thinking thats causing my phosphate problem, AND! got my two foot long bristle worms in the process. All in all, pretty crap day lol, but looking better now that i have the worms out of the tank And i aslo moved the heater to a corner of the tank, so looking much better.
  7. heh, the skimmer is busy making anenome soup, bloody smells terrible
  8. So, just wondering how many people turn their streams off overnight? Woke up this morning to hear *tickticktickticktick*. Bloody Seio had my BTA wrapped around the grill, hopefully it survives. Be doing a bloody big waterchange tonight, and getting happy with the syphon. Dammit.
  9. Do you have a pic? The way it works, if its the one I think it is... The salt water is heavier, and is unable to go from one side to the other. Incidently, if anyone is selling them in auckland, please message me, as i'm looking for one
  10. Predatory fish. Fish with "character" Also, now, the beauty of symboitics - Pair of clowns in an anenome. tang being cleaned by a shrimp
  11. goat island is cool, 7 pound snapper in knee-deep water
  12. I was asking about the prices at albany, told that due to the colder season harder to get stock, so higher prices.

    Hiya

it'll buffer to around PH 8~ How big is the new tank?
  15. The ornates would have easily nailed the Tetras, Origin had an ornate eat a thredfin rainbow
  16. The bulbs look more like marine ones, you may want to switch them around so that the white one is at the front, also that filter is an 1800LPH internal filter. It should have also come with a tap attachment, because in a tank that size, its going to be washing machine material
  17. Puffers are excellent community fish...... (They love the community...) (For dinner...)
  18. As i'm not running an RODI unit, i have a nice red carpet of Cyano coating my sandbed & some of my rocks. What can I use to get rid of it (RODI is my next bonus ) Any other ideas, apart from more skimming (Sorted..), and manual removal (doing)
  19. Copper leaching. Admittedly it will kill your snails, and some fish are insensitive to copper..
