you are right, it is a Regional council law for this region only, I have been keeping tags on different sales and some people are contacted others not, just typical when beuracrats make rulings on things they don't know anything about and then go about inforcing them half assed just confusing everyone.

not like the big parks, but the butterfly house is worth a couple of goes through and they have a few reptiles a fish tanks, proberbly a couple of hours max

GET FROGS!! We have hundreds of bromeliads etc and last yeargot a good population of frogs going, the mozzies are less this year and we have a lot of FAT frogs

I went down to CHCH from Auckland last year and was quite worried about getting stopped, I took it a chilli bag with around 9 separate bags with around 50 fish as hand luggage, it went through the xray and they just laughed and asked if I had been fishing! On the way back I brought back some turtles and had no problems either, may just depend on who is doing security as well.

around 39% humidity which I would have thought to be ok. yeah its been a little while, sounds like I might be able to get down there the next few monthes so hopefully catch up and see the new fishroom!

I seem to be losing alot of locusts the last couple of weeks, temps are fine, grass everyday but both the young and the breeders are dying, and all of them are very lethargic, anyone else having this problem or know what i am possibly doing wrong?

I remember when I was in my early twenties I was promoted to the warehouse managers job in a small warehouse, the guy I was over was a year younger and we used to have set toos all the time, he used to disapear for ages in the toilet (yes we had girlie magazines in there), one day I thought I would give him a fright and teach him a lesson so I picked up this big nut ( to go on bolts ) The aim was to hit the door and make a big noise, I figured if he hadn't crapped he soon would, unfortunitely the nut was a wee bit to big and the door was hollow core, the nut went straight through the door and hit the wall next to him, when I rushed over to see what I had done I looked though the big hole, he was still sitting there with his pants down, magazine in his hand just staring at the big dent in the wall next to him!! Not sure who was more embarressed at the time. the worst part is I ended up getting my first and only written warning and had to repace the door. :evil:
