  1. lol, read this last night and just thought you were a weirdo, and then just actually "got it" now, what an egg! very funny
  2. I have both Nocturnal and Diurnal gecko and they all sun bask together at different times of the day. A.PROPHECY, why don't you make a good outdoor enclosure and then once you have your permit have them inside if you want? I personally prefer them outside = very cheap on power
  3. lol saw that yesterday, nice plec, if I had room I would have got in before you
  4. just noted the spotted bristlenose pics - do they have an L number as was looking at some today that were called "spotted" and also "Marble" bristlenose but can't find anything on the web about either
  5. I think the whitebait mesh is the same or similiar, for natives use the aluminium mesh then 12mm on outside, I haven't seen any with the fibreglass style flyscreen mesh but would probably work. I have my young beardies in an outside enclosure with mesh on 3 sides, they love the air flow and direct sun it allows.
  6. I get all my mesh from Mega mitre 10, its like the flyscreen mesh but aluminium, I get it in black as it is easy to see through, most people that keep natives use it as the innner mesh, costs around $10.00 a meter and are a meter wide. Whay are you looking at keeping in it?
  7. thanks for the entertainment guys, I love it when your'e all in such fine form, I look foward to the next "meeting" of minds
  8. reptilenut, I thought you were the one that ended up with H's group with the reds in it?
  9. not sure how many here are members of the NZHS but from the last conference I was at it seems it is split on wether to embrace exotics or concentrate solely on natives, depending on the upcoming results of the conference there may be room for an exotic "society", I would say though that if exotics are accepted into the current society there wouldn't really be a need for another. Good luck with a "list" of who has what.
  10. well done, I don't normally say this but she is very cute!
  11. nice pics, have you got any of the complete set up's as I am looking at re-doing mine at the moment?

  16. was also thinking of running UV to help with green water and maybe a prefilter or skimmer inside the pond, I will be plumbing up for waste and will use backwash as well
