As far as I know there is a total ban on eating establishments, work places and bars. As a none smoker I like the fact that were I go and have dinner does not stink of smoke and where I like to have a beer also. I must admit that some bars smelt better when they allowed smoking They stink of wet carpet and god only know what.

Well does anyone know where i can get a big bag of brightwater gravel in dunedin?

I tried landscape places and plant shops but no one has the stuff i want. I got a call just before saying that it was out of stock when they ordered it have re ordered it yesterday. Man they could have called me when they found out it was out of stock the first time. Will try somewhere else after work.

this does relate to fishy stuff but can be related to alot of other stuff as well. My question is. How long do you give shops/services, before going somewhere else when you have ordered stuff in? I have ordered some gravel from a petshop in town and the person said that they would order it straight away as long as I meet the cost of shipping, they said that i can expect it in four days. So a when the 6th day mark came and went with out a phone call saying that it had arrived, I called them and they said that they would call when the gravel arrived. So it is day 12 now and am thinking i might go somewhere else to get the gravel. I am going to need another bag anyway but wanted to get it from the same people but since the first bag has taken so long i don't think i will get the second bag till half way through next month. So what would other people do? Should i just bite the bullet and wait patiently or go somewhere else?

Apparently a change of ownership has occured and they are a little behind.

I caved and got mine from the petshop for $35 each Go into a wholesale electrical store and ask them to track some down, be very specific and take a bulb into show them what type you want.

The fishies recovered nicely after a water change thanks. I stopped treating the whole tank and borrowed a small tank to treat the sick fish in. thanks for everyones ideas.

Sadly the only thing that lives there is a couple of gold fish in summer

Add another two feet to the top of the fence Seriously..you could put the electric wire on your side of the fence about 10 or 15 cm below the top of the fence.

Please forgive the photos but they are the best I can do at the moment. This were taken close to two years ago and do not do the pond justice. There has been a lot more planting which I will take photos of this coming summer. (You wont see the water fall as it was still an idea) The photos kinda follow the pond from one end to the other. Things to look out for: - Three wooden bridges - One rock bridge - Jetty (maybe boat) Here is a screen shot of Google maps showing the size of the pond. Please enjoy the photos. This is the start I guess, mostly a swampy type area. Please feel free to ask questions. We are water feature made around this place. We have 3 fountains, pond and another formal garden with fountain on the way :bounce:

Ah that could be it. I guess you can think you do regular water changes and keep your tank great but then something like this comes along. If i should keep away from the stuff, what can i use to treat fin rot instead?

Right time for a water change then. I noticed a build up of uneaten food behind a rock so that might be part of the problem as well.

Hey everybody, I have a 4 foot tank at work that has 6 small e.yellows, 3 Jewels and 3 clown loahces in it. I got to work this morning and they all looked fine. i feed them and now the are all just hanging in the water vertyically facing up, (this is 4 hours later). They are not gasping. It has happened to everyone. I have been treating fin rot with melafix but that is the only thing that has changed. Help please anyone.

Just some rando photos that people may enjoy looking at :bounce: The first three are of a water fall my father, brothers and I built over the summer. It feeds into a very large pond, roughly 1.5 acres (will find some photos sometime soon of it) This one is my most recent build. It is a 4 footer with ugj's. It is housing e.yellows and some randoms at the moment but will hopefully soon be a species only tank with Neolamprologus Brichardi in it. This is my puppy Ollie, purebreed bordercollie. not really a puppy anymore but still in my eyes. This is my parents dog, Boss. He is a German shepard, he is a BIG sook! He is still a puppy as well. These are some shots with my camera using the macro settings.

I can not remember the cost but i think i have the box at home still so will have a look tonight for you.
