They were 1.5cm, some 2cm. Mostly hid in a cave but i guess they came out last night.

Correction... eaten the shrimp pellets AND the bristlenoses at the bottom of the tank. Thought they'd be too big but i was wrong :oops:

was in plastic box the other day and they had similar. They were square shaped with the square holes all around the sides. You could just add the suction cups to them?

Thanks Phoenix. The male is awesome, very flashy and greedy, tries to eat whole shrimp pellets (for the bristlenoses at the bottom of tank) I have them in a seperate part of my tank and covered.

I think i have just brought a couple of these from animates. Went there to spot their deals on the way home today and saw 5 hooning around a tank. Asked what kind of killies they were and no-one knew. So i asked how much they would sell them for..... 1/2 hr later someone decided they were panchax, as they had ordered some in for a person. Just panchax tho, not killifish. male looked a real nice colour yellow gold, females were just grey. All hanging around the top. Apparently very aggressive fish. So i took the 2 for one deal and brought 2 home. Huge fish compared to my others. Have settled in well to a small Q tank with java moss. Have checked out killi.co.uk and seem to be the gold variety. Does anyone else keep these? Searched thru the forum and found Barrie had some. Anything speacial to them? Will be in a tank to themselves.

Yep, he's been in the Q tank for 2 weeks. Just wondering if there was any more i could do to help the healing process.

I have been given a discus that had been beaten up by his girlfriend. He had a damaged side fin and a wound on fins underneth. the side fin has healed ok but the wound (that went white) has now turned into a hole. the edges are still white. In no way has this got bigger, just looks worse. Is there anything i can put on it to help repair? Also i would like to put him in the main tank soon and would like this to be fixed before introducing him. (((stress etc))) the tank hes in now has been treated with acriflavine and daily water changes. Hes eating like a pig too.

Body condition looks ok to me. See the bubble tho.... :-? I wouldnt personally pop it, have you had a squiz thru planet catfish site for help? Even different meds for treatment. Perhaps what ever the bubble is just isnt affected to the furan?

ive been collecting the eggs from the mop every morning and getting 1 maybe 2. the last few days, ive been checking at night before i start tea. I got 4 yesterday and 6 today. Hows that??!! cool . Ive got another 30 days to have 6 live then i can finally register them... :bounce:
