Havent been in there this year.... yet
oh thats where they are, how are they going? Seen some at Ryans about 3yrs ago and took my fancy. Have been browsing but havent seen any , , , on the net that is.
BBQ maranaide: 2 Tbsp tomato sauce, 1/4 cup sweet chilli sauce, 1 tsp sugar, 1 Tbsp soy, garlic, (I like to add BBQ sauce too).
Cut meat into small strips - either bbq or fry quickly. (dont let it get tough)
With your sausages - we got lamb mixed in with our last lot, YUM!. Not strong like usual.
Cut the barb off a hook and leave some meat out for a while until it really stinks. use a handline and have a little patience. We used to just pop the baited hook in the middle of the stream so we could see it, sit a bit farther up the bank and wait. in no time (if the stream has them) they'd be around the smelly meat. Or if you dont want to hook them - if someone has an eel trap - chuck the smelly meat in there and take a packed lunch - rather than leaving overnight.
Brother in law had a fully grown one in a 2ft tank (thought it was a tad small for it) and wanted me to take it. But i had only just got my 3ft tank and had big dreams for it. But there is talk of getting a bigger tank if we sell. (have no where to put it if got it now)
Awesome - some pics look just like it. Have a plan (in the air) to move away from all my smaller plants, just keep the bigger ones and have a selection of wood in there. Eventually my tiny fish will expire and just have the plec and a couple of angels in there. (my killis are safe in another tank) Have been slightly motivated by all the aqua-scaping pics on the net but saw some cool pics and vids of amazon type tanks that resemble looking just under the water level of a river. I dont have the patience / lighting or money for the planted tanks i like, so this seems logical for me. Never too late for a change.
slight impulse buy - looks like a giraffe (an i love them) , would say tan with dark brown splotches. Currently in Q tank but settled in really fast. have looked thru planet catfish etc at the pics but cant spend all day on here. LPS told me it was something (but it isnt that). Hopefully it wont grow to 2ft - anything under that is ok tho
Surf club hires out the pavillion for about $80 (from memory) that includes seating, tables, kitchen & all cutlery. We looked into it - but chose to have a hangi and pig on a spit at home. There are a couple of places in town that cater roast meals? I'd also recommend Mickeys for the liquor - they'll give you a discount/ good deal (if you ask) they delivered ours and even offered to take the un-opened left over drinks back. Maybe hire someone to do the bbq cooking as you dont want yourself or the guests to be worrying about that.
Bring it home
Nothing wrong with that- providing it has food / water and toilet area. You can get large crates also.
Heaps of ppl have apartment cats that never go outdoors. As long as they have plenty of love and mental / physical stimulation, they should be fine.
I had a nissan terrrano when i 1st moved back to nz, great car (come in 2 or 4 door) - comfy on road - towed well - auto/turbo - used 4wd every weekend when moving horses about at dads. Never missed a beat.
Now own a toyota hilux dbl cab - still great car - nothing flash inside (mines a 6 seatr) tows the float ok (manual/non turbo)- hubby uses the 4wd for hunting and has had a few hairy moments but truck pulled thru.
only problem i'd say is the on-road cost for a diesel. $400+ for rego and then road user kms.
insurance is the same - what ever you paid for it or what they have it's value.
does kelly tarltons still have the snow mobile/ blizzard ride? Both are aewsome places. (my little guy preferred the tractor in the car park at LA- typical)
Ohh, ok no they wont fit in there. Have you tried a monkey fist ball? You can get cotton ones or just make your own? I make them out of that strong nylon rope that has a core. (from mitre 10) then just leave a bit for a handle. My 3yr old can throw these a good distance. I can get a pic of ours if you dont know what i mean.
Hi, know the balls youre talking about but I last saw at the vets when i worked there (4yrs ago) - have you tried the rubber tubes from the inside of the milking cups? they are fantastic throw / tug / chew toys. I have a chewer like yours and these last ages. even seen him just sitting there munching on the small end and it's still in tact. If you want to be fancy - you can even stuff them with dry food like a kong.
thanks Nymox. found that too - have just spent the last hr trying to install it but now came up with error : the HDA audio bus driver is required and not found.
ARRRGGGGGGHHHHHHH! might just have to find someone to come around and fix it.
