Zebra plec for $1 reserve.......
Haha, I don't doubt you're capable and mature enough to use it, but rules are rules. The terms and conditions also say you're not allowed to share accounts, so kids aren't allowed to use parents accounts. Not like I'm gonna tell on you or anything, I'm just pointing it out

Disapointment with lfs (has now been sorted)
Yes, what Barry said. They have broken the TM rules. If they were being cheeky and selling it in the shop too, they should have at least removed their listing before anyone bid on it  Hope you gave them negative feedback!

Riddle me this!
Yes it's right and I was telling Phoenix to find a new riddle but he hasn't. So you can take his turn if you want Oh, and just so you know the official answer is the ice-cream van man. Mr Whippy is a New Zealand icecream van.

Turtle and fish"
http://www.totallytanked.co.nz/redear/ Here is a RES turtle care sheet, written by members of this site if you want to have pet turtles in a proper, healthy setup. A 6ft would probably be too small for turtles and cichlids anyway. Remember, turtles need a basking ramp so you'd only be able to have the tank about 2/3 full, taking away lots of the fish's space. + having a glass lid on a turtle tank isn't very good, it causes condensation which stops them from fully drying out. They need to dry out to keep their shells healthy and in good condition.

Turtle and fish"
yes, big trouble. A big turtle killer is from accidentally eating gravel and having it get stuck in their gut. Also turtles are territorial so it's not that great an idea to have 2 in a tank. Yes, they start small but they will grow fast. What will you do when they're a year or 2 older? The turtles will bite the fish fins too, even if they are smaller. Just don't do it >_>

Turtle and fish"
Not recommended, unless you want your fish to be turtle tucker. Also, they have completely different needs in terms of tanks - Turtles need a proper bathing area, shouldn't have gravel, will eat any live plants. A large plec in with turtles seems to be ok though.

Why you shouldn't have Cats.
Thanks for the warning... I'll be keeping an eye on my ones ;-) Actually, all my food is stored in a desk drawer with a child-proof lock on it. I don't understand the people who whinge that their kids get into things they shouldn't, use some foresight for gads sake  But the cat got into stuff that was in ziplock bags from conference that I hadn't put in the drawer yet.

Even without lids I don't think my cat would catch the fish. He has no interest in watching tanks or anything. Maybe 'cos there's been tanks around since he was a kitten. Ripping open several bags of fish food is another matter though

Some people have no conscience
Every single little ding on my car has been caused by people in carparks not leaving a note. There's so many now I've given up caring. So rude though.
