I had smoked chicken, almonds, avocado, brie, cranberry & pineapple & it was amazing...
Great meeting everyone, lovely to meet the new people & very interesting learning about tank building!
I don't live there so no point in membership... Just wondered cos the first time I went it was fantastic and I saw heaps of birds. Loved it, spent the whole day there. But when I was last there, the place was full of screaming toddlers and kids and people who had no consideration for staying quiet so others could view birds. And I wondered why they spent so much money to do something they could do for free in any old park. They must be people with memberships then
Mine is Arlec brand. It was secondhand and I've been using it ever since I started fishkeeping. It says not to exceed 2500w. I've only ever run the one set of bulbs off it.
Haha, yeah it was perfectly fine - encouraged even - for me to be feeding Mr Damselfly Larvae live mosquito larvae... not to mention the 'killing jars' and locusts that game back to life after being pinned.
From one of my lecturers:
I didn't know they had 2 suckers, that's why it appeared to be walking backwards! So it was sucking to my hand with its rear sucker.
Hi Amethyst.
Meetings usually go to about 9ish, but its not a set time so if you can only stay an hour or two, that's fine.
Kids are welcome to come of course, but we are an all adult group at the moment, so I'd imagine younger kids would find it pretty boring!
It is against both Trademe & FNZAS's policies to go behind Trademes back to avoid fees. If Adrienne had wanted to, she could have advertised the plecs here in the first place, but she didn't.
The gene pool would need to have the gene present that allows them to survive in colder water. Then the corys with that gene would be selected for. It doesn't just appear because of conditions. New genes can only occur due to mutations and then the environment (could) favours the new gene.
*jealous* I'll prob end up with cheap ham and processed cheese.
