A membership card gives you up to 10% discount on certain items from supporting stores - if you ask nicely and you must produce your membership card which must be current It is not a right and does not apply to any sale items or discounted deals ie 1 for $4 5 for $16. Not all stores offer this discount.

The list of new members will be sent through to Phantom on completion of all capitations being received from the clubs. This in the past has been a longish process as all members have had to be removed and all the new ones reloaded, I believe manually. Closing date for the 2013-14 capitations is 20 July. The list will go through to the admin on about 22 July - the same time as the membership cards will be printed. New members will be given access to certain areas of the forums, dependant on their position in their club ie president, delegate and those who were members but have not paid will be removed. There will be a post in the clubs part of the forum when it has been done Any capitations received after the closing date will be processed late August/early September

I see that you decided not to go with the wooden bracing at the top of the internal uprights. Why was that?

I haven't used Halides but I wouldn't bother with the cost of T5HO as they won't get much further than 2/3rds depth of your tank.

I find dwarf chains to be very nasty little loaches. They consistently nip at my rainbows and take on both my shark and SAE.

I kept 8 clown loaches, a king tiger plec, a tiger plec and about 30 cory in a 5ft tank and had no issues at all.

I have seen blue eyed bn in the past but not in the country within at least the last couple of years. They were blue eyed like the eye of the plec that Geoff posted. The ones around now for sale do not look like this at all.

You don't need a president, secretary or whatever to be present to hold an AGM, but you do need a quorum of current members and a current member to run the meeting. Seeing as last years members are still financial (until 17 July that is) if you can get enough of them to attend an AGM meeting (yes, an online meeting is legal) then its all go. A full set of minutes will need to be taken and then sent on to the FNZAS Secretary along with the new officials and delegates. If the meeting is online apologies and acceptance of positions by those not attending will need to be emailed before the meeting. Basically you will need to follow the fnzas constitution unless the NZKA has their own written one. If someone wants to take responsibility I will send them the details of the current members so you can email them. Good luck. I know several people have contacted me in recent months re what has happened to 'their' club
