There's a bed available here if you would like one. The room has its own exit door so you can come and go as you please. We're also very central without being in the city. I also love Leigh so would be happy to take you up there for a day trip to snorkel.
At this stage I don't think we are going away over the holidays.
If you're treating with meth blue then continue to do it. You can still water change, just be extra careful with the temperature of the water and try not to disturb the rams.
Trouble is that none like them have come into the country since. Its a shame because in breeding only works for 2-3 generations and then the fish start to lose their 'style'.
Winds still very strong and gusty here and yet we are extremely sheltered at our house. The suns out and we are having the odd squally misty shower. With the thunder last night we had several momentary power outages, I could hear the filters sucking air each time it happened. We are lucky as our power has a generator back up. The rest of the evening was spent hearing chainsaws going. Our area has a large number of very very old established trees so I guess there are not as many today. No motorcycling for us this weekend
atm the tank has become a temporary home to 5 small young wild kribs until they grow a bit more and go into the community tank (450 litres). Thanks Ryan for the beautiful fish. We are very lucky here in NZ to have people who manage to successfully breed some beautiful fish.
Yes, once you have been on here for a while you will find there are a lot of forum members in the cbd area,
If you want to join the FNZAS itself which is not just the forum (forum is open to non-members) they meet at Green Bay monthly.
I like the ember tetras, and the mosquito raspbora and several other smaller species. I shall go looking in a few weeks and then decide. In the meantime my tank will sit waiting for the decision to be made.
The microfolia came out of my discus tank so has always be under water. What temperature is your tank and what is your substrate. The only ferts I ever used with it were flourish excel and a little flourish comprehensive. I found it very very slow growing to start with but once springtime came it took off.
