    Yes it will fix the issue but will not fix the problem causing it. If you black your tank out so there is no light for a few days this should also fix it. For both solutions I would say around 3 days or if very thick green maybe up to a week.

    I have what appears to be two different varieties of 'twisted' val in my tank. They came from different sources. Is it possible that the 'twist' in the leaf of the plant can vary depending on where in the tank the plant is placed or with the speed that the plant grows?

    find out where they are then - it doesn't matter to me when the auction closes as long as it is not too far to go to get them.

    By praziquantel, what do you mean? Are you talking about something like drontal that has prazi in it or have you managed to acquire something named praziquantel. My reason for asking is that it will make a difference to how you use it.

    my 5ft tank is only 450 litres so you should be pretty much okay. My fish do cope, but I feel sorry for the discus if its on all the time.

    I have a 6000lph one of those and I only use it for short bursts in my 5ft tank. I would go for one that oscillates (moves) over one that stays in a fixed position if I had the choice to buy it again.

    The only nearly white female I have at the moment is a crowntail female and she has some blue in her tail. It will be no good crossing her with anything other than another pure crowntail. I do not have a white plakat male but there have been a couple for sale in the shops lately.

    What tail type is the male you have? I do have a mostly white female but she may not be a match for your male.

    What tail type? Did you get the white plakat male? If the male is a marble he will not stay white.

    You should probably ask to have this moved to the plants section where the plant buffs will find it. Its a beautiful tank. Some of the plants we can not get here. I find that while high light is needed for glosso which is the plant in the front of the pictured tank, that if I put mosses in (which also look to be in the picture) they don't do well under the high light. I find that I have to have a plant growing above them which blocks out a lot of the T5 lighting.
