I was in the public toilets today and as I sat down, a voice from the next cubicle said "Hi, how are you?". Embarrassed, I said, "I'm doing fine". The voice said "So what are you up to?". I said, "Just doing the same as you - sitting here! Then I'm asked "Can I come over?". Annoyed, I say "I'm rather busy right now". Then the voice said, "Listen, I'll have to call you back, there's an idiot in the cubicle next to me answering all my questions".

LOL, I think it is books for the poster to read not the child. If you like SK books try looking for some books by John Saul. He is a good read also. Under the dome is a good book but in my opinion the ending is silly.

That's the sort I had mind. I did a weight test and my helicopter will take approx 30g and still fly normally.

I have never paid for a piece of wood. The store down this way sell "Aquarium Safe Driftwood" which is actually just wood that a staff member has collected from the beach and soaked till it sinks. As for washing it, It only really needs washing if it has mud, dirt, sand on it if it is from a saltwater area and maybe a quick salt bath or dip in boiling water if from freshwater. The amount of salt from the beach in the wood is nowhere near enough to give any issues and the only reason for dipping or boiling freshwater stuff is to kill any freshwater parasites that it may be housing. The biggest issue as stated is getting it to sink. I have a large water drum outside that I just throw pieces in that I find until I find a use for them This is also handy to harvest mosquito larvae from. HTH

Beckettii is supposed to have darker under side of leaves. Petchii is similar to Beckettii My money goes toward or Wendtii as its definately not Balansae. Although as suggested it can very hard to ID crypts unless flower is seen.

I used Skunk loaches with success, but as with Jimr It was catching them again without destroying the tank in the process.

Correct. 18 degrees is the most upper range to keep any of the natives. At these temps it will stress the fish. Cooler the better. Aim for around 14-15.
