well i got an ipod for chrissy & my other half got a sony mp3, out of the 2 his is far easier to use, came with a disk, mine didn't, you have to down load half the features with ipod. what a pain in the butt.
i have the novo rift sinking sticks & they are green & im sure they are the cause of my tanks being abit more dirty than normal. alot of muck comes of them when you chuck them in, the fish love them but i wont be buying any more.
hey rozski ryan had a look at my ram & reckons its a munta so you can buy him if you want, lol. & my pictus are enjoying those white worms too thanks ryan.
thanks for the poly ryan, the 2 little bits i had are too busted up to use. not sure why the difference in glass size, the auction said 9 but it looked like 10 so i got the tape measure out to check & they are different. i might pull the bracing off the top & put some wider ones on.
just got a tank off trade me thats 1025cm long, 45cm wide & 78cm high. some of the glass is 9mm & some 10mm. looks solid but the bracing on top is loose & is only a piece on each end & none in the middle. im thinking of putting another strip in the middle & it has been used as a turtle tank & has a strip of glass inside the tank about 30cm down going from front to back that was to hold a shelf up. so im wondering if this would be ok to fill to about the 70cm mark?
found one on the weekend & it looked perfectly fine, no sign of anything nasty in the tank all other fish seemed ok so i brought it & chucked it in my tank. ( in saying this there where a few other tanks in the lfs that were being treated) it looked fine for a couple of days & i hadn't seen it since tuesday & ive just spotted it & noticed its covered in whitespot so ive turned up the temp alittle. im guessing it would be sensitive to treatments so im wondering what others have used on whiptails with success.
