the first decent washing machince i brought was F & P & i must have nearly replaced every part in it. Once it was out of warrenty i was out of luck, even after ringing them. silly me then brought an F & P fridge & have had little things go wrong. so i brought a simpson washing machine because i wont touch F&P stuff & its great. It wasnt cheap but id rather pay more for something i use nearly everyday than buy crap thats cheap & wont last. If i hadnt had problems with F&P i would still buy from them untill now, what happened to buy kiwi made & keep our country working?

forgot to add, it said on tv they made 61 million last year but they still feel they need to move over seas & i dont think having cheaper labour etc is going to be reflected in the prices of whiteware once they have moved.

would you still buy fisher & paykel stuff now they are moving overseas?

maybe some petrol money along with the thank you............

ive only broken 1 lightbulb swinging my net round (so far) & it was outside. if your net is long enough you hold it just above the flies at the bottom & let it go as you swing then grab it again.

we put some tiger barbs in the 4ft & they look neat, school alot & are always on the go. we had 12 but the big ones picked off the little ones & theres only 5 left :roll:

so am i the only one that puts warm water back in??? maybe im too much of a softee on my fish :roll:

not as far as i know. the only good thing i can say about a certain pet shop that many of us hate is they only sell kittens that have been fixed. its a shame others dont do it. i love cats but there are far too many around, when i lived in town mine stayed inside at nite, now im out of town they are allowed out at nite because they dont bug anyone & there aren't other cats they can fight with. they catch mice, hardly ever bother with birds & they keep the wild rabbit population down.

i agree, there are other ways, i wonder if he had even raised his concerns with the surrounding houses or if he just decide to start killing their cats. that other guy that was on cambell live last year just seemed to like doing it, wonder if its the same with him.

While i can see his side he built there. its like buying a house near the speedway then complaining about the noise! that large hex netting is cheap enough that he could net the whole place, a small amount of time & money spent doing that would save his plants & save his time killing cats, but i guess that would be too easy..........

my parnter is coming up from lower hutt tomorrow to palmy if someone can get it from here. or i think he will be back there next week aswell.

it has been really bad for flies this year, if im out working in the shed i cant have any food or drink because they are are that bad too. they are all over the trees outside the lounge window so i cant open that & i have to have the front door shut. roll on winter!

i have a really big male aswell, IMO i think it comes down to how the fry are cared for after they have been kicked out by dad. you are always going to get better growth if they are given the proper care versus leaving them to it. i have read about people using tanks that are in direct sulight and green as to breed bn's in to provide them with the best possible start.

i got one of those fly traps off trade me & it didnt really work & i would rather have the flies than the stink from the trap. i cover my tanks & spray & make sure i dont catch anything for a few hours afterwards for the frogs to eat.

my larger frog drags the smaller one into the water by the leg to try & eat it.

wetpets have it, or used to, i have some if you cant get your hands on any.

& make sure the frogs are about the same size or the bigger ones will try & eat the smaller ones.
