i put a beardie in about 2 inch's of water last year, she put her head under and appeared to be sleeping....3minutes later up the head pops for a look around lol....must try find the vid prior to this i had had one do this for over a minute but i pulled her up :oops:. but yes from what i have observed they do seem to really like a good swim and sometimes to just sit an bath/soak it up you just dont want too much water around permanently, a shallow dish for drinking is plenty, they may use it as there toilet so small is best so you can clean/freshn up every day. I find if i have salad in there every day they dont drink neally as much and vice versa...too many baths and not alot of vege gets eaten veges is best....moderation is key i think.

best i can do is a young boy or 2 who maybe girls

whats the temperature a cool end and basking area? could be constipated has she passed a stool lately? maybe give her a warm bath to help her out. if female maybe egg bound? they will produce eggs regardless of a male present. short tailed wont effect lifespan.

thats a good number, i dunno maybe something upset her...or needed time to get all those extras upto size if a dog in labour gets tired you can give em some glucose in water.....not sure how well or safe this would be for a reptile though. hows she looking now, was she eating between births?

do you keep together all of the time, what about when neally ready to pop out babies? and after birth? i put my skinks out for some sun the other day. First time they had seen each other since mating months ago. and the female had her mouth open and was going hard for the males head silly skink

maybe a better idea to loan out your female to some one with even just a little bit of experience but easier said than done actually getting them to succesfully breed. or maybe you want to swap the female for a couple of young bts

turts must of been in good condition prior to winter. weird weather here, turtles been very active for over a month.

temp ok, could up it a little if anything. bd posibly trying to brumate if so just leave him be in the cave. may stay in there for a month or 2 then will come out full of beans

Just after some suggestions on how to get a tank 155cm high, 80cm deep and 110cm wide from Auckland to the Manawatu and a bd if im fortunate enough to purchase. im just not sure what the best way to go about this is and if its going to be feasible as much as i would like it to be. cheers

i use to over a year or maybe 2 ago and never had a problem.

ones on scotcat link look like what i use to have and i was told they were bandid or was it bandit hmmm and or common whips lol maybe dif cats but look the same to me and mine bred at 10cm+ in open caves, plenty of bloodworms at night

never owned wate dragons but ive seen female beardies fight whats your setup like? just one basking area? maybe make bigger and or make a couple of spots so theyre not fighting for the same basking site. sorry cant really be of much help. good luck with them
