  1. Thanks all for the input. I think I'll do a little experiment, it'll be fun
  2. Thanks for sharing.....and I have to agree with Caryl...... the dry ones are much cuter
  3. Yep, I agree. I was given my Micros and White worms from a genorous forum member and in turn I've given starters to others to keep the ball rolling.
  4. Hi all. I read this in another thread and it got me wondering...... I use luncheon meat and a mate uses porridge. I've also used fish food when the luncheon runs out....... so what do you feed your Whiteworm?? And Caryl, do you remember your daughters result??
  5. I go along with the cats opinion of the tank......very nice 8)

  11. Cheers. I think he'll finish the display tank off nicely Now that's an impulse buy 8) I'm good Nah, I went to my appointment, which was short, then got the fish. Beautiful fish you have there Ryan, I'm looking forward to mine looking similar
  12. For sure the next step. I would've got a female there and then but there was only the male to be had.
  13. Cheers I don't think he'll be any nastier than his future tankmates. He'll be going up against almost full grown Fryeri and a very dominant adult Zebra, amongst others Time will tell, if he becomes #1 in the tank so be it. I'll be keeping a close eye on proceedings and will make sure no-one loses an eye
  14. Hi all. I'm very happy and thought I'd share......I was early for an appointment today so I thought I'd kill 10 minutes in the LFS just around the corner. I don't go to this particular shop often and it was a pleasant surprise to see this fellow.....I couldn't resist him....I raced home and set up a quarantine tank....his colour isn't the best right now but I'm sure he'll look sweet when he's settled and a bit older :bounce: Astatotilapia (Haplochromis) brownae.

    Hi everyone

Hi phrog. Welcome to the forums :bounce:
  16. Good one humvee :bounce: Nice pics too 8) I can't answer your question from experience but I would guess it depends on the fish. I have a pair of Apistos and the only way I can get fry from them is to remove the parents and look after the eggs myself yet I hear of people who have the same fish and they look after their eggs/fry perfectly.
  17. Thanks for sharing chin168 8) #7 is awesome, I'd happily set up a tank for one. What is it called?
