  1. Just use a decent size chilly bin. Fill it up 1/3 with water and pop the fish in. Fish will be fine for the 8hrs trip. Keep it simple . Ron

  3. Yes, they are very sensitive to poor water and hard water. Not using RO because the water is soft enough.Only using Discus buffer. Keeping excellent water quality is the key to big healthy discus so plenty of water changes and feeding a variety of food. Will be spending a lot of time on this tank of discus because they're so expensive and don't get imported much.
  4. Getting the wild to breed is not as easy as the domestic type. The bigger the genetic pool will produce better stronger offspring.

  9. You can definately keep goldfish in a tropical tank. In asia the temperature can com up to 30deg daily so there is no difference in keeping them in tropical tank. You will need a lot of airations and waterchanges because goldfish eat alot and poop alot so water quality can go bad overnight in a tank. Ron

  15. You can get fresh yeast from the supermarket that come in block like the butter. Cut a small slice and put it in a bucket of warm water with a bit of sugar. Feed it to the daphnia a bit at a time as just to slightly cloud the water. The water will come clear in a day or two and you add a bit in again. That way you'll have your pond or whatever container full of daphnia in no time. That's how I feed mine. hth, Ron
  16. It pay to put your location in your profile so people know where you are.
  17. You'll need more than 2 goldfish to feed the duck :slfg:
