blueether
I got to build mine! it is called the Genesis Freshwater Aquarium at the Tongariro National Trout Centre! :happy1: Furthermore, I didn't have to pay for it or maintain it! :happy2: However it is not in my house, or even my town  and the stream tank running down the middle, with the mudfish on the left I sooo want to do that [the first pic] in my computer room :tears: I would be happy with a 2.5m x 600-750mm wide wall to wall version with a small ~300mm deep pool at one end then a small rapid then a larger ~600mm pool at the other end with stream side plantings of ferns and moss, and maybe native grasses/sedges at one end

Stella
I sooo want to do that [the first pic] in my computer room :tears: It is something like 7m long, ending with a pool and viewable from all sides. Actually, it starts with a waterfall and two smaller tanks then flows into the main stream. Hopefully the lighting is being sorted soon and we will boost the fish numbers up and it will be a showstopper (is shortjaw kokopu, koaro, torrentfish and bluegill bullies)
