JarrenB
Card 4 - If I can vote for myself that is...
Sue Fleet
I like 4 and 7 as a second choice. Although the colors are nice to look at on here I think they might be a little difficult for printing, far too fussy.
Caryl
Here is a late entry Card
Caryl
I would tell bdspider what she could do with her suggestion but this is a family forum  I think I will go into the local photocopy and business card making shop and price professionally printed ones too then those with lots of colour won't matter
kiwiplymouth
I like it I would like it more if the tail of the pleco wasn't cut off

douwe
Card 8 But absolutely with tail
phoenix44
That's a lot of blue! I do like a pleco on there though, even though its only half a pleco. A zebra pleco would go well on a card. cheap too considering its black and white
jude
Why not print them on blue card?
alanmin4304
I like the latest but with a complete pleco. I hate a half fish unless it is on my plate.
Caryl
Jude there is no white colour, just absence of colour leaving it white. If I used blue card on the last one the writing would also be blue from the card.
bdspider
I still like 4 or 7, they look the most professional.
jude
 I never thought of that - but the white could be changed to black
Caryl
Apparently the card designer only has a pic of that much plec - no tail :-?
Jennifer
Its a bit untidy, but the best I could do in a half hour. Photos are just used as examples but it would be good to perhaps use some POTM as well as other member photos to represent our varied community. Caryl
Looking good but pics are way too small (for my eyes anyway) fitting that many on a card (which is also too big. Needs to be 9cm x 5.5 if I remember correctly. The printers also said to make sure nothing is too close to the edge that will matter when they get cut as they sometimes lose a bit around the edges. Scottie841
It is a bit harder when you make it smaller. Maybe if ti only had 3 wide and 2 high for the pictures
Zev
3mm minimum for text near the edges and a 3mm bleed. Trimming is usually rather imprecise as far as business cards go, and is exacerbated when the cards are two sided. And who distorted the logo  I like the idea of using some POTM photos to depict the different types of fish, plants etc.
antwan
That seems very complex for just a membership card (still very nice concept though). I think all it needs is to tell you what it is, have the fnzas logo, and maybe a small picture. Pleasing to the eye is nice, but how long will we be looking at them after they've been tucked away in our wallets?
Caryl
OK, after some minor alterations I think this might be it... Thanks to JarrenB for the design. We can change the design in a couple of years or so. I have removed the space for a sig since we will have a new treasurer next year and it means unused cards can't be carried over to the next year. Hence also the gap so I can write in the valid years. I can get a special deal for 500 which should last us 2 years then we can look at new designs
supasi
Good, I just found mine in my wallet all tattered. I laminated mine but it made it slightly larger than the card pockets in my wallet and I therefore stuffed it in the billfold section and it got wreaked. Tsarmina
i like that one best caryl. its not boring and its not wasting ink by being to "flashy" for something thats just going to sit in the back of my wallet for a year, till the next one comes out. Caryl
That one had the most votes and has since been altered very slightly to make it more "printer friendly". You will have to wait and see what the final result is
