Loopy
it will be just the same as everything else: has to be the right person to pull it off well. There is a team leader at work who has amazing dreads. He really suits them. Bum length, even, tidy and clean looking blonde dreads. I don't really like the dreads that are all different sizes and lengths as much.
A.PROPHECY
lol mine are kinda the same length
Caryl
I saw a programme on TV where they had a guy in the UK cut off one of his dreadlocks so they could analyse it. What was growing, and living, in it was disgusting! :-? I get itchy just looking at them  What do you have to do to "touch up" dreadlocks? I didn't realise anything had to be done to them. How do they make them in the first place? Sorry I can't recommend a place as I don't live in Auckland.
A.PROPHECY
touch up is just dreding the new growth, and knoting up all the loose bits so its a bit more tidy how they do it lol alot of back combing and pulling, tuging and rolling lol it hurts and takes 3 hours they also rub bees wax in a glue sloution
Caryl
Hmm perhaps getting streaks pulled through tiny holes in a plastic cap isn't so bad afterall then

spoon
rastas were right even jesus had dreadlocks! (everybody did back then) try www.dreadheadhq.com i used to have dreads found this site usefull, made my dreads and maintained them myself , a weak solution of lemon juice and salt is a good conditioner
stuwalters
I don't think there was any rope-heads back in Jesus days. I prefer the opposite.....skinned up, shave my head every other day
alanmin4304
Dreds are Jewish?
Ira
The major reason they had dreads back then is the total lack of modern hygeine. When you don't have soap, only cut your hair once a year and only wash when you get rained on...
Caryl
I spent ages last night reading that site spoon recommended. Very funny (and informative) 8)
