  11. i have just tested my water in my community tank and it has a ph of around 8 to 8.5. how do i lower it. I also tested the ammonia and that was 0. i tested just after my weekly 20% water change. I would like to get it down to around 7, any suggestions. also i have been getting my water straight from the garden hose and when i tested that it had a ph of 8 to 8.5.
