I current use 8 t5s bulbs, with 4blue and 4 white, also 4 x 400w, south pacific sunrise 20k bulbs.
Dont like the bulbs as they are weak, changing to coralvue reeflux 12k in a few weeks. They seem to have great feedback .
You are not kidding,
Tank has had many leathers removed over time and going through a rebuilding phase at the moment.
I think is looking at its best right now, however by Xmas it will be more mature and reef central tank of the month material.
Cleaned out quite a few corals so that they can grow bigger, still got problem with high fish load which makes it hard to keep the great colours of the acropora.
When I went back to some of the old photos I was surprised that I still had plenty colourful acropora.
i lost him last year, i think it was old age, i had him for 4 years and i got him from a hobbyist who ha him for sometime.
I still have most of the fish.
Thanks for the info duke,
I did have a black tang a few years ago but it dropped dead one day for some reason. They are hard to get and there is only two in the country.
I think only 3 have ever came in and i have had two of them.
See if you can find the goby in this first pic

I forgot to mention i have a mantis shrimp in my tank, its green and about a inch long.
Seen him going in a small hole and closing it up. Hopefully he wont touch my fish.
I think what you see is a Moorish idol.
Hard to keep, but not had any major issues with them other than my crab killing one some time ago.
I still have the regal in my sump tank. cant decide if i should put him in as the majestic is a risk.
Still have a black tang to go in but have to remove the yellow tangs so that they dont kill him.
Will remove the yellows and then put them back in at the same time as the black tang.
Taken me two years to get a black tang so i dont want any issues as at over $600 fish it gets a bit expensive to replace.
