Zeolite can just be placed in a canister filter, Whets the big deal about shaking it, sound like a big have to me. One theory I see is that it feeds the coral. The particles look a bit big to feed any sps coral.

No more cruller as trying to sell a nano tank that has a low chance of success. Can’t see much chance of coral/fish lasting very long. That is the good thing about them, they look cool and not every man and his dog has one in his tank.

They are quite rare, as everyone else wants them so the changes of getting them is not good. Big price tag . Been trying to get black tangs , and they are equally hard to get. But the $400 or so price tag could be a problem for most.

Lots of the Lobophytum wont open because of the acropora. Could be all the toxins the acropora release.

From my many years of reef keeping leathers react to salinity more than other corals. i dont see many yellow leathers around. but i see many umbrella leathers so i would class them as not easy to keep. Yellow leathers do like high/medium light, My current yellow leather has hardly grown over the last year as it is in low light, however my last yellow leather had to be sold as it grew to big. this leather was receiving very high light.

check for is salinity. lighting and water movement seems ok. Yellow leathers are not easy to keep.

First out of the box or after it has been cleaned might cause bubbles to come out. but it stops after 2-3 days, any new skimmer being cleaned could do that . i thought it was pretty clear.

Like all beginners you need to follow the instructions and read the posts. What is the point of trying it on another tank when it needs to build up a slime coat inside to stop the bubbles? I thought Deltec was a copy of a Queen skimmer.

yes, however not a problem as you wont be cleaning the whole thing all the time, maybe once a year, cleaning the collection cup weekly is not a problem.

Am missing the point. Most skimmers i have used will put bubbles in the tank for a few days, and then once the slime coat build up inside the skimmer the bubbles will go away. Having had 3 deltec hangons over the past few years i have found they all do that. It is no big deal as once the skimmer is establised the bubbles are no more.

no the reveiw says it went away in a few days and when you clean the whole thing then it will do it again. here is the quote again refer to the two previous quotes . it says it goes away.
