  1. It looks very similar to the ones I caught at the prawn farm in taupo.
  2. Already have F1 Luwanda (page 2). They are very nice fish. Not very aggressive, but will hold their own ground.
  3. Orange Dragon Blood Fire Fish / Red Coral / Pink dragonblood etc etc Just the body

    Ruby Red??

The colour on the photo has changed? i am not sure now In order to get the proper colours in peacocks they need to feel comfortable in their surroundings, LFS may not be the best place for it. We used to have nice ruby reds in NZ ( Saw some in Redwoods - 6/7 years ago) but they got mixed up with other things and have lost their colour.

    Ruby Red??

No that doesn't look like ruby red. Looks like A Stuartgranti but the colour is off.
  6. I don't know if this has happened to anyone but i have had auto bids and have won the auction with my autobid, even though i would have been leading the auction till finish.... So when you look at the bid history i would have bid over my older bid, therefore the last two bids will be mine!!!
  7. EBJD have a lethal gene when u cross EB to EB. I tried this, all the fry died after free swimming. Best way is to cross the EBs with normal JDs and the cross them back to each other or EBJD to JD/EB. I got there and the fry do survive. I think Andrew has done it as well, he got there before me:) By crossing to FH may not work

Do not feed them during the dose. Also feed a little when start feeding again Can dose with salt at the same time. Ask if you got questions

Good article: http://www.cichlid-forum.com/articles/malawi_bloat2_pt1.php Best to do it every 8-10 hours. Also need to turn off the lights when doing it. I try and do it first thing in the morning and then do it again after I get home from work. Could do it after the kids go to bed?
  10. Really like the red heads I like this
  11. Nice work jack  When are you comming to get the trumpet snails?
  12. What can I say you know everything
  13. Just acclimatise them over a longer period of time so that they don't get whitespot. Also just keep an eye on food for them since cichlids can be aggressive feeders, with time the clown loaches will learn to come to the top to feed.
  14. your 4 + JackP 8 = 12. That adds up
  15. Ryan DID NOT have a dozen. He had a maxium of 4. He says he had 12 but thats not true. Jackp do you still want some of my trumpet snails?
  16. You have the correct idea. I would also do a largish waterchange on the old tank before doing the transfer and hold off any feeding till after the change
  17. They would be better once you fatten them up a little jack. It's really good with some slow steamed snails that I grow
