  1. About 4/5 years ago when the king tigers first came into NZ there were a few numbers that were mixed into the batch. Most were L66 but there were L333 and others which I couldn’t identify at the time. King tigers were darker and the patters are a lot narrower, and when I had them on a light substrate they cleared up a little. The L333 were a lot nicer and the lines were a lot more defined, more of a white based fish. Try get those and they will look nice on a dark substrate. Don’t quote me on this but there may have been breeding between L066 and L 333 which were sold as king tigers. Being in NZ we cannot really prevent this.
  2. Blue eyed panaque for me. Saw a massive one in Singapore few years ago for sale 1900 SGD
  3. Yea I would do water changes at 30% from the hose but always feed them enough but still leave them wanting more. Keep lights on long so that they get enough algae to graze on.
  4. Large cold water changes are not ideal for tropheus, but I do it for my peacocks tho ( usually only 25-35%) Things should be avoided that can trigger bloat.
  5. Over feeding can lead to bloat so watch out
  6. Just wait and it will happen. They take their own sweet time. Feed them well and keep up the maintenance.
  7. Miniatures alligator all the way. In the US you can mail Order them
  8. Some are lare 12cm and others around 7cm
  9. Meh in deed Yea the Lemon Jake is nice, still has a long way to go. The parents were great looking with darkblue/purple bodies and face. Again the Eureka has a bit of growing to do. Dragon bloods are almost there but some more colour to develop. I will post some pictures of the Eureka when they are about 10cm. Will post an updated Albino Eureka peacocks when I get some time Does anyone have good coloured OB peacock females for sale?

  12. Thank you for the comments. I will update for pictures when I have time and when I see improvements. The Albino Rubys are almost fully coloured but others are long way off. I love Albinos and I think they look wicked, but I do know what you mean about them being freaky.
  13. Albino Ruby Red Really hard to get pictures. They are very skittish. Orange Dragon Blood and Young Normal Eureka Red Ruby Red - still some colouring upto do. F1 Aulonocara Jacob Undu Reef - Lemon Jake

Do you remember the juvenile coloration? Did it have any spots?
  19. No the female is not a jacobfreybergi because it doesn't have the bump on the head and the red/orange line on the dorsal is not a jacobfreybergi characteristic. Jacobs are also more elongated than other peacocks. This is a Jacob female
  20. It looks like a stuartgranti male and 90% sure it's a stuartgranti female aswell. But I don't know if it goes with the female.
  21. I doubt that it would die. If it was really necessary can feed them a little aswell
