  1. Nice. I don't understand the two different types of females. Were they from the same batch?
  2. Thanks Only now they females have started to breed. Not sure why they took so long!
  3. Thanks Sadly display has taken a back seat for now.
  4. By crossing the albinos with other stronger normal you do make the albino gene a lot stronger as time goes. Eg - The albino guppies we have in NZ are getting stronger by the year.
  5. I haven't had Albino Betta but I do have a lot of other albino fish/birds. Giving this albino its own tank will be the best thing to do till it matures. Also some floating plants to break the light, if you decide to have a light.
  6. Nice tank set up. Really like the natural look.
  7. The Eureka reds and the Albinos are doing well. The males are a little aggressive towards the females so I have given them a little rest for now. The fry are growing well. Will update with pictures when I get some time.
  8. Thanks :bggrn: :gpo2: Coral. They just started spawining.
  9. Aulonocara Jacobfreibergi Eureka Red - no image enhancement
  10. I have anubias in all my tanks - Malawi and Tang. Its growing in the tanks :bggrn: rather than :ske: The java fern i had, kept getting uprooted in all the tanks so haven't tried it again.

    My Tangs

Nice mate. What synos in the tank?
  14. Will be happy to write you a reference or a letter of support
  15. Females do have some subtle colour. I am guessing that this shows up better because the Albinos have no colour on the body. I have submitted my application to the boss for the display tank, pending approval. May not go ahead.
  16. You should get in contact with some Auckland fish shops to get these fish.
