Your could try Aquaflavine, not really a med more of a tonic. Helps to claim them down, some Dutch and Greman Discus breeders use it all the time I've read.

A pair would be the go plus rummy, rams and corys. I have a tank set up like that now. You could have a look at it if your keen. Does need to be 50% water change but depending on the sand/stones you use this migth not be as big a job as you think. I'm looking at getting some Cockatoos down from up north. Are you keen.

When I treat with Fromalin i treat the hole tank , plants, filter and tank mates.

You need to be doing water changes of at least 50% and even better if they were bigger. 5 Discus in 200 ltr would be the top, at that level I would say that 50% water change is a minimum weekly. If you want to have a look at what I do u can visit next weekend. PM me if your keen. Sounds like he was attacked by bacteria due to waste build up and the bacteria bloom on the back of this. Happens to us all.

Are catfish ok in a tank to be treated with Prazi and what dose rate.

Could be bacteria build up, do a large water change as well as above treatment. Discus really need large water changers rather than a lot of small ones.

Could be a bit lower but 28 should be fine. I've got a couple of GBA at 28-30 with my Discus.

Amazon for me, this also goes for parrots as well. There’s just something about the jungle, animals and people that seem to be from a lost world. If it came down to one or the other I’d have to go with parrots. Hopefully in the next 12-18months I'll be going there for 4 weeks bird watching (does that make me a geek) and the Inca Trail.

I don't know what they come with but fill it with noodles. When you get the tank run the filter with just the carbon in it to clean any residue from the tank over nigth and then we can swap noodles and you'll be all go.

If you get some medium the tank will be ok to stock after a day with some "cycle" added just in case. What kind of filter are you getting, always better to buy one bigger than you need for when you increase tank size.

Angels are nice but can be a real hassel in your tank, have you thought about other fish. With big angels they could clean the tank out of every thing else you put in there. May be some one on here could give you some options, I'ld say Discus but they can be quite expenize.

Don't worry they'll sort it out. Make sure you have a lid on the tank as they can jump when fighting.

Furan 2 or maybe Formulin (sp) has he been rubbing on anything, what are the other's doing in the tank. What are you feeding? Beef Heart. Feeding Discus heart and other high protein foods require a large water change weekly, 2 or 3 smaller ones over the same time doesn't clean out enough of the waste and you can get a bacteria build up in the tank and they start to attack the surface of the fish which just guessing could be the problem. Only a guess.
