the was using garlic but not until all his fish got really bad, only lost the one fish though, everything else looks pretty good at the moment

my brother uses garlic every day. also started using the miracle mud garlic extract and salifert stop parisites. Seems to be working though which is good

change 70l every 10 days, tank is around 1200l total, use red sea salt

I use bio digest, biotim and reef booster. After 1 month my phosphates are at .02ppm(hannah meter), I am also using miracle mud which i thought was a dirty system as such. Tank has only been running for 4 months though and only using prodidio for 1 month. Nitrates also unreadable(salifert)

I thought that if you added nothing the cycle can start all over again. You could add a cromis they arent as bad as some damsels

just got some mag chloride from medchem (same place cracker gets it from) in mount albert. 25kg cost $123. They are more than happy to sell to any reefers who want it

my emperior loved anything soft(mushrooms, leathers etc), I had no stony corals at the time so am not sure if they will nip those. As a juvinile he wasnt a problem but when he matured he was a complete pain

making a fresh batch of salt water, forgot about it and went out for 4 hours, flooded half the downstairs of the house, was a complete disaster. Lets just say I always make up my water in a 30l container in the laundry tub then transfer it too the large water bucket since that date

$160- $180 toatal for the house. I had a friend who got the same massive bill a year ago, he also called and complained and didnt pay any of it just his usual amount. Not your fault they havent read your meter for over a year
