i ordered the ballasts from marine depot, they had them wired for 240v also so no need for converter. Got the bulbs from reef

5 ft t5's are 80w, using icecap ballasts which overdrive them to 100w

I had to raise my light up 5cm, seemed too bright. using 5 100w t5's

i have 2 white and 3 blue t5 on my tank, light seems about right. I would think 4 whites plus the halide would be too much white

cool looking tank, I also wondered about the fish, they seemed to change every month(where did all the anthia's go), the pumps at the back are sea swirls and they cant be submerged

I had a cleaner wrasse, did an amazing job keeping my blue tang clean, jumped out though :evil:
