I notice one of the goldfish in the outside pond floating.....so fished him out. Notice 2 other goldfish MIA......so I scooped the other 2 out and put them in a 3ft tank. The larger fish was taken from a farm trough which was full of Oxyweed. This is her/him now........what do you think it is? he/ she has a hood (hence the name), and a fatter body.....totally different looking from the other goldfish.

Oh forgot to add.........they are going to go into my large Hex tank.......as soon as it gets its leak fixed :evil:

I had 5 large angels in a community tank.....the neon tetras started dissapearing.....then 2 lots paired up, and they got pretty mean to each other......I seperated the main breeding pair and everything settled down. They definately all had different personalities.....my fav blacky angel passed on the other day.....he was the cheekiest of the bunch.....and he is a missed individual!

He looks like one of my last males.......sadly couldn't handle it in the bigger tank......he was a try hard top sword.....;.his off spring have the same tail.....but not the colour.....just spots and splashes of orange black and yellow.

Does he have any discolouration? My red girl developed a loss of colour on her back like a saddle, her fins were clamped and she sat on the bottom......she died very soon after sadly. Her mate died the day before, but during the night, so didn't see what symtomps he had. Hopefully someone will see this and offer some advice on treatment.......hope you manage to save him!

This is what I was told to look out for in the male....breadth of dorsal fin, squarer corners to the caudal fin, long ventrals (at least 1/2 the body length) and a longer, more tapered body shape & Females tend to have a shorter, chunkier body, shorter ventrals, a smaller and narrower dorsal, a more rounded tail shape, a fuller belly (sometimes with the eggs visible as a pale patch) and an 'egg spot'. hope that helps

Just found my fav angel dead.....poor Engine ( my boy named him) Have no idea what happened....he was fine this morning, then floating this arvo, he had lost alot of colour and his tummy looked alittle bloated. Will miss his cheeky attitude.....and his girlfriend is now all alone
