Im am about to start planting my new 5' tank out and it will also have a co2 unit , they problem lies in my belovered fish I what my tank to look lush with plant life but my oscar and pink tailed chalceus and my ruby shark have great delight in taking the tops off the plants, I have been doing a bit of trial and error but its gets a bit costly. So far the flaxs, java ferns,some swords and a few others have survived. I dont want to have a tank full of plants with no fish or a tank fill of fish with no plants here lies my problem?

Hi to everyone out there in fishland, yep it is another fish nut joined the club. Well a bit about me were does one start??? I have 3 tropical fish tanks. 1 tanks is set up for bristlenose breeding, Hogwash and his four lady friends have proven quiet good and lets say increasing the number of brisltenoses in the world. 2nd tank is community with guppies , swords, mollys, glass cats. And my 3rd tank is a 4' with the major draw card being ozzy you guested it the oscar. He shares his tank with 2 clown loaches and 1 tiger barb who thinks he is a clown loach. Elvis the ladderback eel, 2 red shoulder sevreums a pair one hope, 2 parrot fish also finger crossed a pair, 3 jewels , ruby shark, cigar shark ,bala shark, red tail shark, and a pelco. And I am also setting up a new 5' tank with Co2 and cant wait to get it all up and running.
