    Discus pics

nice pics, i like the white butterfly
  12. i wouldn't buy that discus. aqua you're best to buy 6 young discus off a reputable breeder or importer and grow them up from the start with great food and clean water. hard to resist temptation tho ay?~!?!
  13. no, sorry. to be brutal and objective: the body shape is like a rugby ball, the eye is large and dull (ie stunted and not bright red as is most desirable) and the forehead and chin is very bumpy (not smooth and round). but the anal fin and patterning is nice. with good diet and water changes it may improve some.
  14. ^^ dave+amy great fish looking very nice. goodluck with raising them
  15. mmmmmmmmmmm sure is good living in one of the sunniest cities in new zealand... haha :D
  16. be wary. i hear it is highly addictive.
  17. wow great set of fish there vincent! those blue diamonds are the best i've seen in a while, unreal! great dark blue and the eyes are quite red too
  18. mm whiteworms slow down over summer, they don't like the heat. don't have enough to part with at the mo sorry
  19. they will briefly do that when really scared (like few seconds at 45 degree angle) eg if you water change too low and they freak out, but they certainly shouldn't do it for any length of time.
  20. daphnia, mossie larvae, whiteworms, and they actually love baby brine shrimp too (even as adults). do you have a big barrel to set up daphnia?
  21. did you get the adolfois from hollywoods sim? i tried very hard to spawn them after paying quite a lot to get a group that had spawned in a big community tank.. alas, i never had any luck. however, that person that spawned them said he also had peppered cories in there...and once they started spawning, the adolfois did too.. so that would be your best bet. i tried to do it but the peppereds didn't spawn for me. i think it was just my tank was too small really. also use a lot of peat and don't water change for a few weeks then suddenly do a massive one with cold water.
  22. once an addict, always an addict nice fish mate, very good lookin
