  1. great pumps, replaced my 6 with a 7 recently, but not silent.
  2. Awesome little flounder Joze, I use to keep baby flounder when i had my local marine tank. they love blood worms, only problem is the crayfish would catch and eat them. Never got one that small, good effort.
  3. do they make bigger models Steve??
  4. worth buying a ticket for that one.

  7. Ditto, won't download.
  8. 60 litres every week, tank over 1100 litres, red sea salt.

    salt

I use red sea as well. Good to know Reef, as its the only real issue with it - low calcium.
  10. Nice wasp, a real stunner. It will be hard to stop looking at your tank for a while now eh......

One thing that i can't agree with you Steve  . Deltecs are worth every cent, and I doubt anyone could convince me otherwise. The little APF600 skims like a dream and has from the moment I plugged it in. I'm sure the 902 that is on the list will run just as well. Shawn.
  17. agree with Suphew, they are a budget model but work well. Mine is a 1000 model, are I think there is a second hand model at Hollywood or PM Jetskisteve. I rent my bottle through work, $5.00 per month. I feed my reactor from a small line that feeds off the main return pump to the display, and use a small tap to control it. Saves on a pump and works good. I have a electric solenoid which turns the CO2 on and off, and it is on a timer that I use to use to control Ca and Alk levels. Now with all the growth going on in my tank I have it running 24/7. It is still good to have as it will shutoff the CO2 if the power fails.
  18. I run an aquamedic, it is a good price, holds std media and works very well.
  19. yep, thats the norm as far as pricing goes. How lucky reefers are in the states, or even Australia.

    power bill

between $150 - $200 per month depending if the airconditioner is running.
  21. you obviously weren't talking to reefers!!!!

    sand

Plenty of sand, rubble and critters in the refugium.
  23. Slappers, check seame.com, they have some good ones on special at the moment and delivery anywhere in the world is free if you spend over 75 Euro. I'm thinking about the Bracket delux - 35 unit at 184 Euro.

    sand

Have the same trouble, most of the sand has been removed and only a little left in areas where it stays. no it's not a nice beach but i prefer good healthy corals and the amount of crud that comes out of even a SSB each week on vacuuming is hard to believe.
