  4. hmmm, might try something like that latter on. go sandbeds
  5. no just a normal fungia, its doing fine, no worries about its health, ill try to snap some pics but the damn bubbles make it tricky
  6. one of my fungids is green with purple highlights. in the transition it was slightly damaged from a rock or something and the skeleton was exposed (very small part) the tissue has now regenerated but the interesting thing is that the new tissue is a different colour that the rest, its a very bright purple (think ribena) i guess its alot light scar tissue in humans. think it will fade?
  7. lol yeah i know what you mean wasp
  8. easier to source something locally imo no it wont get rid of your hair algae but it will help
  9. hey my fish loved the nano , he got feed well and it was small bits often, he's abit miffed at me now that he's back in the big tank cause i only feed once a day if that. my issue was with the fact that they were maroon clowns which are notorius for being aggressive and not mixing well, the cage thing was a bit disturbing at first but once he explained it i understood a little more.
  10. i hope they dont get the bird flu
  11. i tried to be as diplomatic as i could about it.
  12. Just though i'd put up this post and give some kudo's to Simfish for an awesom effort on the planted tank he'she posted in the freshwater tanks section. great stuff, very calm and natural looking, great use of wood as well
  13. give me a few months jimmy and ill have some awesome acro's. you should be able to have some nice ones with your new lights
  14. ummm let me see..... i would pay about 150-200 for a piece that size. 7inches is a fairly big colony, 600$ is far too much though bet you its sold with in a week though.
  15. yeah thanks for that help steve i wondered why the acro's were struggling
  16. if its about 10-20% just pull out the water from the tank and chuck in the new water, if its a larger percentage then you might want to heat it up a bit. you can use it straight away though
  17. its pink fay, of all the reefers on here you should appreciate that colour. my wife loves it soley for the colour. some people try to discorage its growth to keep the tank clean and to reserve calcium etc for the corals
  18. that guys always in the clownfish/anemone forum posted retarded questions, he should really join a local forum where he can ask questions in a language he can actually speak
  19. people back on topic. pictures of tanks
  20. but it wont alternate them they will be pushing the same amount of water
