  4. thanks its 88L about 60cm long 30cm wide and 40cm tall. i need to get a new bulb for the MH thats why its so yellow and i took the sticker off from the front today (after how many months)

    live what?? most people have to buy dead coral rock for 11$ per kg for the LFS some hobbiests do sell some rock now and again (usually can find someone that has some for sale) but thats only for the people that know about this site really, ive never seen live rock offered or mentioned anywhere else (maybe once on trademe)
  6. i agree the surface skimmer is poorly designed but with a little tweaking it works quite well step one rip out that little screw up thing (breaks at the base easily) step two increase the base intake (other wise as you said the over flow part gets submerged quickly) by cutting some holes in the tube if your willing LB spend a little and get a small skimmer cause they are a good thing to have but you can even make your own, see nano-reef.com for the diy plans all you need is a air pump and some perspex
  7. you will need the thing that addapts the fluval to take in water from the surface (surface skimmer) its about 15$ i think ill take a pick tonight so you can see what it is

  9. not that hard to make i made one out of ply and didnt get around to finishing it cosmeticaly but it worked reall well
  10. congrats on your first post marinebetta on the topic of the Niger, i love the way they swim but would be very cautious adding them to a tank with expensive cleaner shrimp

  20. ill have to look at getting some, i havent really bothered untill now cause the only hard coral i have is a calastrea and its doing fine (already doubled in size), but with the soon to be added sps i think it might be quite beneficial
