    fragit

well i just discovered this week an important thing about fragging xenia i had some xtra xenia that i was going to frag and give away, so i cut it off and put it on some rocks with rubber bands (i couldnt be bothered finding toothpicks) and left it in medium flow areas, well it looks like the toothpick part of the formula is quite important, be cause it was like a lamb's tail been banded off poped the xenia frags in the night leaving only little white stubs on the rocks out of interest will the little bits of white stalk be able to regenerate polyps and turn into normal xenia or will they die off??
  12. how about a plastic mesh lid?
  13. im not a fan of sea food either when i went to goat island it freaked me out to tell the truth, a snapper tried to bite a ring i had on a chain around my neck, and i took one of my gloves off and they saw white flashing at them and charged, scary fish
  14. yeah sign me up but then youve got to buy a truck to put it on mind you i'd only have to go once a decade
  15. i really like the look of a gentle moonlight, i wouldnt add it for any reason than the apperance and being able to enjoy the reef tank at night
  16. guess which one will be (is) the female
  17. put it on trademe and sellit but put down that buyer must "collect"
  18. i was going to take one last night but didnt get around to it
  19. duh i didnt notice the little tankbred thing damn those are expensive i guess it depends on the type of fish
  20. those arent aquacultered are they/?? i thought that the divers den fish on live aquaria where hand caught in the wild??? the tank bred fish (what i though would be considered aquacultured) are the same price if not cheaper on live aquaria (spingeri psuedochromis 48$ wild caught 39$ tank bred)
  21. definatly i cant believe people can be so heartless as to poison fish and then sell them top die slowly, just to fill there pockets go acquaculture
  22. another thing that astonished me was the amount of $ that the locals got from the deal 70 cents that seems a little rediculous, i'd be willing to pay a little more to ensure they got a fair cut and that the reefs were'nt getting raped
  23. watched most of it. made me feel a little guilty about feeping marine fish i kind of have mixed feelings, the fact that fish #'s have dropped by 50% in some areas is just insane. on the other hand i dont feel guilty for the depletion of the fish but rather for the fact that there arent people smart enough involved to realise that there needs to be some form of regulation to maintain both eco system and environment also encouraged me to breed my little clown couple, and buy frags from people as to not have such a large impact on the reefs awww their so cute
