ok
heres my genius idea.
my wife has a white glory box that we used to sit a little fresh water tank on, the cabinet is always empty but would very easily fit my old sump.
so i have my old sump as my new sump with all my old equiptment rated for a four footer in it, all powering a two foot nano cube.
yeah then i can get some more variety in my tank cause ill have a skimmer runnning again
only problem is access to the sump, not so genius ( i can turn the front panel into a door of sorts but access will still be restricted)
thats what im saying
im moving again in a month, new tank time, but still no huge reef untill i have a permanent place
i dont think id get any work done if i had a nano at work (we got out a dvd last night and i found myself watching my tank more than the dvd)
two foot cubed im thinking,
yeah, i saw that,
very tempting, but i dont have a huge amount of faith in local glaziers, (fortunatly my managers husband is one so i see if i can get a hookup)
Hey
i would to upgrade my tank (my current one is my old sump so it findof scratched)
im thinking maybe an acrylic tank, it needs to hold about 88l as thats what mine is currently
what i want is something vey clear and crisp looking
ideas??
i liked bens one but would prefer a tank rather than a whole unit (save some pingers)
dont get seahorses cause they'll get too hot
i didnt say you couldnt have a small marine tank its just moer difficult to keep it steady (temp, water quality)
i think he ment an electric window motor
as in my car has electric windows
n.b i think thats actually a really good idea, put two on and they can work independently
mine has maroon/brown body and tentacles that are about an inch long with white tips and radial striations (lines oing out from the middle)the base is white with little bumps any id pet planet??
are the holes in the return pipes facing the back at all?? i couldnt quite make it out from the pics?
i hate rock falls to, epescially when youve just finished getting everything the way you want it stand back to have a look,, and crash
looks pretty good to me
i like the closed loop look now cause i can visualize the positioning of the rocks, did you any thing like that on your current/old tank?
what about a midget??
i think you can tell after awhile when youve got it right with the directions and rates, im almost there for mine, i know ive got enough movement its just a matter of positioning now
hahaha
sorry i meant for the leather, i havent used super slue on leathers but it works fine on polyps,
poor anemone with the super glue foot
another option that worked for mine was to leave it where it wasnt going to get disturbed with a rubber band holding it to a small chunk of rock
super glue gel,
i had the same problem with mine as well, (the recently departed blennie desidin he was the king of aquascaping and kept knocking it over)
my anemone was grumpy for about two hours getting used to the current when i moved him around recently to give him more light (cut down on his need for blennies)
