I used to have a female t duboisi and she bred with any male malawi in the tank that wanted to :roll: :lol: Are your ones yellow or white bands? Also just out of interested how much did you get them for and what size?

well standard price is aorund $20 but they are very pricey on the wholesale list so sometimes $25-$30

well pet city/jansens, (not sire what it's called now) and goldfish bowl should have some, probably nothing very big though, just the common species.

I totally agree about keeping them seperate, maybe if anyone sells some they should make it extra clear which lot they are - yellow or orange?

there are different strains in nz though aren't there? there are the orangey coloured ones and the yellow ones. what do we do then?

ok then, just a. jacob I have to say that the baenschi are looking better than the jacobs, the biggest male is only about 6cm and is fully coloured, I will try and get pics but they're in a dark tank.

well otter point, Boadzulu Is. and Cape Kaiser seem to be the three that the ones that I have look like. I think it might be the Boadzulu Is. I'll have a better look tonight, I have seen OOAs ones a while back I think either Boadzulu Is. or Otter Points.

Well I got some baenschi, jacobs and marble peacocks and I now have 8 baenschi fry - about 10 days since spawning, haven't had them that long, i hope they were in with baenschi males? Congrats mekhaela!! One or 2 of my jacobs aren't eating either, might have to check them out BTW Alex I think they are otter points?

I don't mean you selling them, I mean the importer - why don't you get in touch with brooklands or something. They might not be able to get them from their suppliers overseas.

but would they sell very well? people would like yellow alot better and better blue can be found in other fish.

aparently us and aussie have the toughest import laws or something, in my opinion we have a lot of better looking fish in the country, you just have to know where do get them.
