Have you got any pictures of that Alan? I have not got the GIB yet, only had a measure up so can still change my mind.

Was going to use GIB and then paint it in water proof/mold resistant paint. Other options? All you did was slow me down.

So I got delayed a touch with study and other boring things like that, so this week there has been a big push on getting some work done. As you can see, still lots to go. The rest of the batts will be done this week. From then the GIB should be getting done in wall stage in the next few weeks. I also got a rack put together as you can see in the last photo, each rack should be good to hold 10 600x300x300 tank and I have two. They fit into the a very small space in the corner by the door frame and the window, so that leaves me with heaps of room for bigger tanks. A new window should be ready to fit in two weeks so the existing ones will be fully removed and that will replace it with the heating unit I got from Caryl, what feels like a decade ago now. Lock smith is due on Saturday, so I will seal up the extra door and complete the batts on that wall then.

I have decided against buying this tank.

I have a small tank that I am currently not using and I want to try and grow some moss in it. I have heard that people have grown moss in a bucket outside with no additional aids. So my question is, will xmas moss go ok in a tank with no heater, no filter, no movement and just so "second hand" light from my MH unit?

Loaches and corys are apparntly do not work so well. The loaches tend to bully and starve corys. None of that is from first hand experience, just word of mouth learning.
