I guess they would be good if you had fish like oscars (or turtles) that break the glass heaters, because stainless steel heaters are a ripoff.

A guy at one of the pet shops said 2 feed tiny fry you mix shrimp pellets in water and it forms powdery water. Iv done it ith ocld wter before and it didnt smell as bad but took alot longer to powder.

I just mixxed some shrimp pellets and boiling water together to make food for some of my fry. The smell of horrible. Luckily i made a big batch and freezed to so I wont have to do that again for atleast another month. Try this if you want to scare away friends and family.

Forgot to ask but will any killifish use either a sinking or floating mop? or do certain killifish only use one type?

Hey I was thinking of getting a african cichlid setup and Im interested in mbunas. What do you guys with experience think about tank sizes. filtration, decorations, gravel eg. Also stockage levels, photos would be good if you have some spare time. thanks

This has happened to me once. One dyed from getting its head caught under a stone. And another 3 climbed into my hang on filter died and then floated back into my tank. Maybe this is the problem if you have a hang on filter?

I once had a fish that jumped out of its tank at night and by morning it was crisp and dry, so we got out the spatular, pealed it off the ground and put it back in its tank. It was back to normal after 1 week

Hey How would you split a single airline, say 50 ways with even pressure going through each line? I dont think they make gang valves that big or would you have to use a whole lot of "T" joints? thanks

lol that wouldnt taste to nice, spose it would be better than putting in a block of bloodworm in your drink thinking it had a slight "strawberry" flavour. thanks for the help. What you suggest for filtering them out. i have been using a empty tea bag and this has worked, do you suggest anything else.

frozen baby brine shrimp. Im sick of wasting brine shrimp eggs and waiting for them to hatch so i thought i might try freezing some. The shrimp should hatch about 4 oclock tomoro after noon so if you have any tips could you tell me before then. Oh yeah, will most fry eat frozen BBS? thanks

Hey Just wondering where shops get there airpumps they use to airate all the tanks in the shops. how many litres per hour pumps can you get and what are the prices, Any websites would be good as i havnt found any.
