  1. come on guys ,no need to get your knickers in a twist,Firstly they're only fish and secondly im sure you all have wonderful tanks, corals and fish so you don't need to worry about if it wasn't that impressive or whatever your wanting to say it's not really a needed comment sure it's an opinon and you proberly have the right to say it but is it needed we're not trying to out do each other and negative comments don't help,in my opinon i thought the thing on reefers was cool the tank looked awesome, but also i think that anyone who can keep saltwater fish is an absolute legend and their tanks are all better than anything i could ever do.basicly my point was no need to create un needed anger you should instead be happy that the hobby has got more exposure.
  2. what ive heard is that once they've breed once thats it for them in terms of being able to bring true to the new male 100% of the time.
  3. you could get shrimp from a rock pool instead not sure if they'd get all spasticated or just die in freshwater though
  4. good ol platys live bearers are the swingers of the fish world always at it aren't they
  5. wicked i've never tried with them will be interesting to see how it pans out
  6. hi all,im thinking about starting a cold water marine tank as i spend most my time on weekends diving and spearfishin(not at same time tho lol) and would love to look after some nudibranchs, leatherjackets blennies for a while because they're cool to look at,what would i need and how much would it cost also what kind of work would i need to do to keep it running etc, also would it be able to be clean enough to store crayfish in for a while?cheers also what species have people kept before if you've done this?

hey caryl do you have any B/N breeding pair/trios that you would sell,i seem to remember you had B/N's awhile ago and this just sparked my memory p.s sorry for being off topic
  9. sorry to hear about your loss it's quite funny/werid to see how people treat fish like humans and treat it like a humans died.i'd say that he's alot happier where he is now.
  10. it's against TM rules,i'd be pissed off if i was a bidder,but i wasn't
  11. today i had to do a major room change to fit some other stuff in and i had to remove a tnak and to cut a long story short i had to put a tank outside .i thought i had removed all the fish in the tank and i remembered taking out what i thought was 3 khulis which was how many i thought i had.any way my brother went outside to see how much watter had gone into the tank from the rain and he saw a khuli so he grabbed it with his hands and ran inside and put it in it's tank.i went outside and touched the water and it was freezeing cold so how this khuli could have slipped though my detection, survived in a very small amout of freezeing cold water and be put back in a tank and swim around like nothing happed i don't know and i just checked the tank and there appears to be no dead fish.next time i clean the tank i will count the amount of khulis i have
  12. i have a small tank that i would like to set-up as a hill stream tank.I am wondering what fish i should add to the tank at the moment i have 2 borneo suckers and some cory's which i might add i was also thinking of maybe white cloud mountain minnows.there will be a strong current the ph will be 7.0 ish and the temp will be 20-23 (not sure what exactly yet but whatevers best for the borneo suckers).if you have any ideas for what type of fish to add i would be keen to hear.
