Yes, they are cold white. I don't remember if they were 6500 or 7000 but both should do just fine.

Nope... just adding nitrate, potassium and excel on a regular basis (50% of recommended dosage) and iron once a week.

Good start on that tank! It´ll grow beautifully for sure! Lovely fish too
