I find the word pakeha offensive.
I prefer being called a kiwi thank you.
It should be if you are born in NZ you are a New Zealander, not a Maori, not an Asian, not an Islander, not a European - A KIWI. ONE NATION. ONE PEOPLE.
Anyone else feel like they should be receiving the goods that the European settlers paid the natives for their land etc. back? I wouldn't mind a 18th century musket to hang on my wall or a nice flock of sheep etc.
The fact of the matter as I see it is we are all supposed to be one nation, not a nation of split nationalities that argue and fight over the rights to who owns what. Some Maori are the most selfish, racist people on this earth if you ask me, quite happy to accept and take but not happy to share. Go back to living in huts and hunting with spears if they want to live like this. It's called being civilized and evolving into a respectable part of modern society. Not alienating themselves from the majority.
You may want to look into injecting some form of co2 if your going to be adding ferts to the water column as you may start getting algae issues with the high abundance of ferts that the plants can't all use.
You can plant anubias with no problems as long as you keep the rhizome above the substrate, I find it can actually grow better this way if you have substrate ferts.
:gpo2: I agree, I personally think the tank is too small for angels anyway dude.
Just for future reference you might like to add your location to your profile, this helps in a lot of ways as someone near you may have some fish that would suit your tank or have the same tank and able to let you view it to get some stocking ideas.
Sounds like a bacterial bloom which is quite common on a new tank especially during cycling. Just keep doing regular water changes and it will clear up in no time.
I didn't breed these ones danval did, and I haven't raised fry from these yet past the freeswimming stage as they are all in the same tank growing and everytime the fry reach that stage they are quickly munched up when the lights go off.
They're mine lol, I have shipped fish quite a bit recently and haven't lost any, these were shipped down from Hamilton when they were a lot younger without any losses.
An airpump does not add oxygen to the tank, the oxygen comes from the surface agitation which the bubbles cause. This can usually be done without an airpump by directing the outlet of your filter to break the water and cause surface movement.
