  1. It is a nice looking tank I will admit, can't wait to see your other one finished though lol.
  2. Just curious about how much these are worth dude? Been thinking about trying my hand at killies and from what I heard these are a great starter breed.
  3. They ate the eggs, have now got them in a blackwater type tank and added another female to form a trio, from what I have read I should have more success this way.
  4. I have a pair separated in a tank by themselves, just conditioning them up now with some live food. They all lay quite frequently but always eat the eggs, only once has a batch made it to freeswimming but got eaten within a day of being so.
  5. What's your budget and what type of plants do you want to grow, they're the two factors that determine what you need pretty much. Also for a tank 700 deep you pretty much have to use metal halide to be able to successfully grow anything that's considered light demanding.
  6. Wow lol, those tanks are like $2000!
  7. I am at a loss, so you bought the 600ltr tank to just house some fish while you work on your 1400ltr or are you scaping the 600ltr and making that your main tank?

  9. I would think it is microprocessor controlled lighting like the expensive units have.
  10. I thought this thread was for tanks that we personally consider nice, not arguing about the skills of the photographers. Who really cares if the photo has been edited or taken with a cellphone? Most of us don't anyway I am sure.
  11. It might just be adapting to its new tank environment which is probably different than what it has been grown in. I would just leave it for awhile and see if new leaves develop the same symptoms and then worry about fixing the issue.
  12. It gives you a rough estimate of your co2 levels Caper, only useful if your injecting co2.
  13. That sucks Sophia, I've had that happen to me before.
  14. The pretty ones usually aren't :ton:
  15. It will be either the rtbs or t-bar, not sure about t-bars but I can vouch for rtbs being aggressive towards anything they take a disliking too.
  16. Good on you Bobyn, more threads like this would be good!
  17. Still not feeling too well Caper, waiting on some blood results to come back but yes I am back home at least.
  18. They're not sure what it is, my bowels are slightly inflamed. Had to have a ct scan and whatever that stuff they made me drink beforehand + the dye they injected into my veins made me spew exorcism styles all over the really expensive machine lol. Haha Sophia that's what it felt like!
  19. Spent the last 24 hours in hospital, never had such intense abdominal pains before in my life!!
  20. Just pick out as many as you can and start a new culture with them, then throw the old one out with what ever worms are left. It shouldn't take long for the new culture to start thriving.
