  2. Very. Maybe I'll pop into the local lighting shop
  3. Bought some more dragonstone from the LPS  some really nice pieces in there, I'll get a picture when I get round to clean them. Would one/two? Of these lights suffice? http://www.trademe.co.nz/pets-animals/fish/lights-lamps/auction-475013870.htm
  4. No, not really. That stand, IMO, doesn't looks very safe.
  5. It's not good business if they do not respond to customer feedback. I'm sure adding a few more categories isn't a big deal of work. And To be honest I've had quite good experiences with TradeMe customer support  Plus it is getting to the stage of, if they can find it, they can buy it, therefore more income. But if they can't find it, they cant buy it and less in comparison income.

  9. that is an awesome tank! Can I ask, what kind of lighthood do you have (to run the 3 T8s)?
  10. Good idea. I get really annoyed at people labeling tanks MASSIVE or HUGE when they're like 50L... :digH:
  11. I've found this site http://www.aquascapingworld.com/threads/new-hardscape-testing.6098/ Any ideas on the rocks?
  12. Kind of shows the pink of the rock All of the rocks Rock 1 Rock 2 Rock 3 All rocks, tape measure was pulled out 600mm Rock 1+2 where from the same rock and both have a little bit of pink. :dunno: rock 1 is a bit munted (due to trying to chisel out the pink  )...

  14. Got it from the Pet Centre in the Hutt  hate this stuff now. It's got pink parts of it which make it look so unnatural! :an!gry

  16. No not pumice :slfg: pretty sure I could break that with a hammer and chisel http://www.aquascape-boutique.fr/OHKO-STONE
  17. :slfg: not really got a few holes in it, used a hammer
  18. It's a rock which reminds me of Swiss cheese, it has lots of holes which go in one direction if that makes sense. I wrapped it in a towel and managed to break it
  19. Hi all, I've got a piece of dragon stone which is a tad too big for my aquarium. How would be a good way to break it with out turning it to dust? I've tried a hammer and chisel but that didn't work. So any ideas? Thanks
  20. Drove down to the Pet Centre in the Hutt today. Some guy rear ended me on the way... Bought some dragon stone and a curved glass tank so I'm pretty happy  except the car has a ding in it now :digH: Flourite, lighting and filtration to sort out now
  21. Okay, I'm a bit confused. Does surface disruption decrease the level of CO2 in the tank? Ie if I use a HOB filter and diffuse the CO2 into the tank make adding CO2 redundant?
  22. thanks Alanmin I saw your picture off M. quadrifolia on the plant base. Nice stuff! Or to anyone reading this what is a good carpet plant we have in NZ (if you disregard nutrients Ferts ect) for a Nano tank?
