  1. Does the phone have Bluetooth? It's easy to transfer stuff via bluetooth. But when you connect the phone to the computer via USB, can you go to my computer and does it show the phone there? If so just look through the folders and find the photos normally labeled something like J000001 or something like that. Sorry not sure how else to do it.
  2. Sounds good. Looking forward to future updates
  3. HC as in Hemianthus callitrichoides? I thought we didn't have it in NZ? :dunno:

:slfg: I somewhat doubt it, hopefully earning some brownie points so I can finally buy my own present; a big tank

Good day today, up at 8 stained the decks (only took 3 hours  + another 3 hours to finish the water blasting) then went for lunch and a scooter with my mate, and off to the river tomorrow and to top it all off I just won an auction for a wireless Bluetooth keyboard; maybe this will help fix my typos  :yaw1: good night everyone
  6. :slfg: Buying an Xbox just to cut a hole in it and put an aquarium in it.... That's awesome tank though. I read about everyone on here saying that marine are so unstable ect. I wonder if they should ask how he does it?
  7. Cool  will be keen to see how it turns out, what kind of lighting do you plan to use?
  8. This probably isn't the easiest job for a 14 year old. Either A) stick with T8s, unless you really need to change them B) buy a T5 unit. C) get a sparky to do it IMO those are the easiest and safest options for you.
  9. +1 as long as they're not deformed I feel culling is unnecessary (unless you are pure breeding). Species like guppies and most other live bearers, canbe culled due to them quickly being populated.

5 hours of water blasting today=sore back... This is cool, Type "let it snow" into google. And wait
  11. Acracidia 6% is what I use for my turtle
  12. There's one here in Kapiti that was found. I was emailed about adopting him, but I've got no room. PM me if you would like this one, and I can organize it.
  13. Mmm I felt that way too. The guys quite nice though. Would've been better with more filters, tanks and lighting instead of substrate and ornaments
  14. Oh, maybe one big tank with dividers? If your planning on breeding. Getting a 60x30x30 tank is standard. 90x45x45 is standard as well I think.
  15. Maybe you could get one custom made, or make one yourself? I didn't find it hard to make my small tank, but I had all the glass precut. I'm sure someone in your area knows a tank maker if you don't want to make your own. HTH
  16. Oh true, but when they scanned it wouldn't it come up differently?
  17. Bumblebee gobies are brackish fish. Not pure freshwater. You can get them from HFF I beleive, check their current fish list on their website. Not sure about them living with fighters. They will most likely nip the fins of your fighter, that can lead to diseases. Oh by the way I was talking about bumble bee gobies. A shop in porirua had marine gobies if that's the kind your after?
  18. Oh and on the topic of llegal importing, did anyone else see those white(mans?) tree frogs on trademe a few years back? Can't remember their exact name. They looked like fat toads all most :smln:
  19. Wow, was he a member of FNZAS? You think that when they come through customs they would be examined? :dunno:
  20. *whistle* http://www.fnzas.org.nz/fishroom/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=55497&hilit=Marimo&start=0 *cough*
  21. I don't think the would form perfect balls like they do in Japan. I think I was reading wikipedia  and it said that they form in underwater cave like areas and the water forms like a circular spiral and this is why they form balls? I can't remember the exact process. I could survive, quite easily, but forming balls is unlikely.
  22. +1 Give them toys and stationery. Anytime we or other people we know go to third world countries alway give a big bag of stationery out. You should be fine, get the shots. I always have a hidden compartment on me to carry cash. Personal favorites are hollowed books or belts cans with unscrewable lids
  23. What does DEFRA stand for? Or is it just an agency? *no I didn't buy one*
  24. If your getting algae it's due to an imbalance of nutrients, light and CO2. What kind of algae is it? Also, I've heard that ottos are wild caught, so they use a chemical to catch them, temporally stunning them. This may be why your ottos are dying. Or due to having a small tank, the puffers are more territorial, killing the ottos?
