what do you plan on stocking?

Can I ask where from? I'm thinking about doing a nano cube ( :roll: I know) but I couldn't find any for the previous tank.

:sage: so is the Waikato river. The inlet near Taupo is chocka full of the oxygen weed (banned). It'clone to costly and timely to remove all of it. :digH:

Yeah, there no massive bio load so I think I should be fine in that aspect. But in terms of keeping the water clear I think about it. Was thinking about adding the Sunsun HW303B that I have. If I did I'd fill it with sponges and filter wool so it's just mechanical filtration. Or maybe just a powerhead? :dunno: I'll give it a run for a while. The only problem with the filter is that there is a 10cm lip so I have to buy some fittings to get around it. :digH:

I think he means are cheap. There are a lot of expenses in breeding discus'. Plus the start up cost of buying a breeding pair (or raising juvies to a breed able age).

Hello, Would a 300w ehiem jager heater be OK on 300-400L of water? It's recommended for tanks 600L+ but I assume it would be ok? Thanks

I think I've said that in the first post. Choking was more of a case for the turtle. Pretty sure puffers and clowns can get flukes too though.

:slfg: Forget the rest of the questions. I've done some heavy reading and food most answers I need. Just a note, I found that snails can be an immediate host for flukes. So they can pose a risk to turtles, unsure about loaches though. I'm looking at getting a new light fixture. Another 4' double. So in reality it's like having 2 8' bulbs on a 6' tank. Is this overkill for a turtle tank?

S you've got your full car license, but no motorbike license? To my understanding you've got to start from the bottom again starting at learners (m).
