I found three wee guppy fry (fries? sounds like chips), amongst the mysterious duckweed. (I call it mysterious duckweed, because I have no idea where it came from..) They are so tiny. I wish I had been home the other day to save the others, my dad told me there were about ten, but...The other fish got hungry?! :roll: Do I need to feed them anything special?

He looks healthy other than the 'thing' It is pretty round in shape. I put him in a quarantine tank. But I am looking at a couple of the other neons, and it looks like they could have the same thing, but not as pronounced. I did a water change yesterday. Should I throw the other neons in the same quarantine/ and What should I do to treat it?? I googled columnaris, but am still not entirely sure what the 'thing' is...

One of my neons has developed a weird white growth on its mouth. I'd take a picture, but no camera batteries. It is the same colour as its lips and is slightly bigger than the fish's eye.. What is it and how do I get rid of it/can I get rid of it?

Wow. Our Rabbit came back. I did not expect that. He is back in his hutch, amazingly he looks perfectly happy...

The wind blew over our rabbit hutch in the night and the rabbit bolted. It also broke the lock on our front gate, which blew open... so our rabbit had the perfect escape route.

It is crazy weather here.. It was really windy and rainy, then the wind calmed down and there was thunder and lightning... Still is. But now it is raining harder than before. Really loudly.. Loud enough, that I gave up on my ipod and logged on here...

I have a 30x30x60 tank, that I am dedicating to guppies (for now).The tank is probably not going to be planted, but will have a couple of those floating fake grass ball things for fry. I have no idea, what substrate to use. What colours do you think will make the guppies stand out? Also, Is that silica sand any good? Thanks!!

My brother wants a couple of Oranda goldfish. Does anyone here have them?? He has a 83L tank.. So What other cold water fish could he have in there? Also can golden algae eaters be climatised to cold water?

I bought a 600x300x300, pick up tomorrow!! I only have a sponge filter, at home, would that be okay?? What do you guys use to cycle your tanks faster? Last time, I just had it running with stress zyme the night and day before I got my neons Would using some water from my current tank help, or not?? Also, If I decide to breed, as i probably will, which is better for guppy fry a 'breeding net thing that hooks to the side or those fake grass things???? Thanks for putting up with all my questions!!!

Omg! That is scary! Exactly the same thing happened to one of mine on the weekend. It was a bit sickly though, so I don't fear for the others...
