cool thanks. Those tanks are awesome! I am thinking about some tetras and a siamese fighter fish? Are they okay together? I am going to the pet shop tomorrow, i think to look at the fish there...

Cool. What kind of fish would you suggest?

I have just started this fish thing and i have a few questions. I have a AR-380 (34l) with a filter, light, pump, heater, ornaments and gravel. I can decide between a coldwater tank or a tropical tank. What would you guys suggest? The laldy at the pet shop suggested neons for the first cycle, then a couple of those sucker-fish.... I forget the name. Also any thing to tell/warn me about before i set up the tank. Thanks!

upon realising my brothers so called guppies were pests, he has now moved on to goldfish. Normally my parents decline his begs for animals, but considering the fact the fish could always be looked after by me, they have said yes. He was looking at pictures on google and now wants Oranda goldfish. any thing he should now before starting or is there a bettercoldwater fish for a 12 yearold????? Any ideas would be great.

i am 14 and i got refused to buy a goldfish last year without my parents, which was understandable. For all they knew i could have been wanting to keep it in a glass under my bed hidden from parents. I mean, selling something living to a child is a bit 'dodgy'? Wrong word... unsafe? hmmm you get what i mean anyway. i think 16 s a good age. At16 you can drive, so why not buy a fish?

My little brother fished some random 'guppy' fish out of the creek at the end of our road in a butterfly net. He is keeping them in my old 10ltank and feeding them this free sample fish food from our local pet shop. Do you have any idea what they could be? They are about 2-3cm long and grey, thats all i can tell you from what i have seen of them..... I will post a picture of them later. (waters to murky right now)
