Just cos it is natural doesn't make it safe I understood it was highly toxic if overdosed (but I might be thinking of a different product). Melafix is tea tree oil if I remember correctly. In proper dosage I don't think it harms filter bacteria.

Don't forget conference (Queen's birthday weekend) is in Nelson this year so a good opportunity for getting fish brought down from elsewhere with attendees

Danios can cope with temps down to 18C. This means they can live in unheated tanks in warmer places, it does not mean they are a coldwater fish - despite what the lfs tries to tell you. They should not be kept with goldfish either.

It was the 25th anniversary this year. We started work at 7am and got home at 8pm. Great day. Saw lots of interesting sights :-? Grant belongs to the local Amateur Radio Club and they provide communications for the event. We also guard the chillers behind the scenes. I agree with slevin12. Do not be tempted to feed them extra just before you go either, you might cause problems. I get my oxygen weed from the river running through the middle of town.
